On August 11th, 2021, nearly 500 employees of VTI Group based in Hanoi has successfully got the first injection against Covid-19.
In the context of the complicated epidemic caused by the delta variant spreads in Vietnam and around the world, VTI’s top priority is to safeguard the health of our workforce while maintaining business operations and ensuring project delivery for customers. Therefore, we believe that getting vaccinations is the best solution to achieve the dual goal. VTI Board of Directors has decided to make an urgent and significant effort to find a vaccine source to implement vaccination for all employees.
After only two days from the decision, the vaccination campaign took place in a very safe and orderly manner with the support and coordination of doctors at Vabiotech Care Immunization Center – one of the leading vaccination centers in Vietnam. The entire vaccine used in this campaign is AstraZeneca, which is authorized by the Vietnam Ministry of Health. Vaccination information of the VTIers has also been stored on the national database of vaccinations for future vaccine passports.
In the kick-off campaign, VTI Group has reached 70% of the total number of employees vaccinated against Covid-19. The remaining employees will be vaccinated for the second dose on August 15.
Many of our employees are pleased to have been vaccinated safely and effectively. Employee health after vaccination is stable and the first layer of immunity to the coronavirus is generated.
We are also scheduling to give the second dose of vaccine for our employees in four weeks to complete the historic vaccination campaign.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have taken prompt measures to ensure the safety of our employees and maintain our business as usual. We assure you of our highest commitment to maintaining our operations and further growing our business with you.
Thank you for your continued support.
