On January 10, 2020, VTI officially gained CMMi Level 3 certificate, accredited by QAI – Quality Assurance International. This is a leading milestone, proving that VTI is gradually maturing and can rival other companies with 10-20 years of experience.
CMMi is a software manufacturing process standard set by SEI, originating from the software production process of the US space agency NASA. This is a top benchmark in the world for software production processes.
Acknowledging, determining to get CMM2.O level 3 certificate at the end of 2018 and embarking on the certification process since the beginning of 2019, VTI’s CMMi team has made great efforts and successfully obtained the certificate in more than 9 months. 9 months can be considered an unimaginable number, especially with having to rebuild the process from number 0.
As a technology company but also a software manufacturing company, having a good process is a fundamental and vital element. Therefore, since the establishment, VTI has perceived that having a standard process is the most important and towards building a standard process of CMMi.
In the future, VTI will continue to be determined to achieve more prestigious certificates, improve the quality to respond better to international customers.
